On June 15th and 16th, we took part in the third edition of “Bussola” (Compass), a national event organised by Hangar Piemonte that aimed to bring together cultural organisations, public administration bodies, social actors, policy-makers and businesses to explore different scenarios of cultural transformation, prioritising dialogue between different perspectives.
We helped moderate two working groups and fostered discussion around the following question: In what way are major global challenges – embodied in the megatrends which are redefining the world in which we live – transforming cultural and social organisations? And, more importantly, what contribution can these organisations make to this transformation?
The two days were informed by a cross-sectoral discussion, and were punctuated by talks, participatory workshops and collective feedback sessions, confirming our conviction that transformation cannot be faced alone and that there is a need to build ecosystems that are able to interpret present conditions and at the same time to imagine possible futures. A perspective that already forms part of our journey.
