To mark Europe Day on May 9<\/span>th<\/span>, as part of Turin 2033\u2019s candidacy for European Capital of Culture, the city organised a series of events focusing on the European values of peace, cooperation and shared culture. To celebrate the event, the Mole Antonelliana was lit up with the colours of the European flag and the Turin 2033 logo, offering the city a symbolic image of belonging, dialogue and shared identity.<\/span><\/p>

Throughout the day, parked in Piazza San Carlo was the Civic Libraries Bibliobus, showcasing publications focusing on Europe, citizenship and cultural participation, as a way of encouraging reflection on the themes of inclusion, memory and the building of a shared future.<\/span><\/p>
